SATURDAY ONLY.
Enjoy this traditional English garden with lawns, flower beds and fruit trees.
A small cottage style garden with a rockery and mixed planting in the front garden. A level path to the back garden is wheelchair and walker friendly and the garden can be viewed from the patio. There are 2 steps down to a lawn, green house and small pond with fish.
To the left is a north facing bed with cyclamen, primroses and ferns under a black elder (sambucus) , mahonia, lilac and pear tree.
In the green house I hope to have tomatoes and cucumbers.
A sloe tree is past the pond with various perennials, fox gloves and holly hocks and small white alliums, and at the end of the garden is a gnarled plum tree surrounded by snowdrops, crocuses , primroses and tulips in spring and cyclamen, hardy geraniums, day lilies, michaelmas daisies and bluebells in summer and autumn.
Up 2 steps is the fruit bed with black and red currants, a tay berry on the fence, yellow and red raspberries and a small apple tree.
The conservatory is filled with many cacti and succulents and the spring flowering orchids are outside for the summer.
