A medium size garden, once part of the old rectory grounds.
A gravel front garden planted with bulbs and perennials and some Yew topiary. The back is quite shady with a lawn and pond alongside a small rockery. There are shrubs and greenery for a flower arranger, planted mainly with perennials and yuccas, the original taken from my parent’s home in South Devon, which seem to thrive here. A small raised bed for runner beans and flowers for cutting, including a patio and seat at the end of the garden providing a quiet place to enjoy the evening sun. Decking offers a different view of the garden with further seating. Slate taken from a pond makeover presents complimentary shapes to the pieces of drift wood scattered throughout. Hedges surround most of the garden attracting birds.
Over the years many changes have been made as I am aiming to adapt the garden to make it simpler to maintain.
