Garden 14

12 Lower Icknield Way

A Japanese-style garden with oriental planting.

These include Acers, verbs, cherry trees and bamboo. Walk through the traditional Torii gate, where you can meander through the planting towards a peaceful pond with brightly coloured Shubunkin fish.

Opposite is a Zen garden for quiet contemplation with raked gravel and a pottery studio call The Clay Cabin.

Inside, Maxine will be demonstrating the different pottery techniques she uses for her handmade ceramic creations inspired by nature and the Chilterns.

Handmade pottery on display and for sale in the Clay Cabin.

Key features:

  • Cherry trees
  • Torii gate
  • Zen garden
  • Pottery studio
