An extensive garden with lots to explore and Pimms!

Our garden is approximately a third of an acre with the back garden split into a series of ‘rooms‘ the design of which came about as a result of some 30+ years ago us managing to purchase the land on either side of the existing garden returning the plot to its original size. Having created one garden we set about creating the two further areas linking them all together with archways. Each area has a different feel from large area with shrubs and perennials a central area with patio and flower beds surrounding our 100 year old pear tree called Percy to the third area with greenhouse and veggie patch.

Each year as the garden matures there are many challenges from pruning, lopping, replacing plants and shrubs to maintaining lawns but that is what gardening is all about and we love it. The garden is now back to how it was when the house was built in the mid 1920’s and we hope we have done the original owner proud particularly as relatives still live down the lane!!!
